PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR BIRTH {AND POSTPARTUM} WORKERS

I built a successful, full-time doula business from the ground up over the past six years, and I love to share my newfound wisdom with aspiring and experienced professionals who have chosen a similar path. Wether you seek mentorship, consulting, web design or marketing services, together we will nurture the soil that will encourage your business to bloom.

In 2013, after the birth of my first daughter, I heard a call in my heart to follow a new career path and become a childbirth educator. I left my full-time corporate publishing job to pursue the path, which then led me to both birth and postpartum doula work. While working part-time for the next two years as an elementary school substitute teacher and teacher’s aide, I attended multiple trainings and read countless books while also networking; researching birth, motherhood and entrepreneurship; and volunteering my services to close family and friends.

After giving birth to my second daughter in 2015 and spending the remainder of that year and the following year tying up loose ends in regard to my certifications and business development, I left my part-time job and dove headfirst into running my own full-time doula business. My business included doula work as well as website design for my colleagues. By 2017 I was consistently booked with full-time birth and postpartum work, and had accumulated multiple five-star reviews that helped to further my business. My income was able to support my family during two major job transitions for my husband, and the feedback I received in regard to my cultivated skill-set and design aesthetic has been consistently positive.

I am currently pregnant with my third child and am transitioning into consulting and mentorship so that I can take care of my body and my family during this sacred time of growth and expansion. The timing feels right, as I now feel called to share all that I’ve learned with other blooming birth professionals while helping them to build their businesses. Just as new parents need a village, so too do birth workers, and I would be honored to be a part of yours.

MARKETING MATERIALS DESIGN

When attending networking events and interviews, it’s important to have beautiful ways of sharing what it is you do while simultaneously conveying who you are as a professional. It is often said that design is the silent ambassador of your brand, and thus it is important that the design aesthetic you present is both authentic and professional. The marketing materials I can design for you include but are not limited to social media posts, e-mail newsletter banners, business cards, brochures, postcard-sized handouts and flyers.
